Cabinet Cookies
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Any chocolates, caramels, candy, or small treats you want in your cookies
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350℉
- Combine sifted flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream margarine or butter with brown and granulated sugar until light. Beat in vanilla and eggs until smooth.
- Beat dry ingredients into creamed mixture (a little at a time).
- Add in any chocolates, caramels, candy, or small treats that you would like. The fact that you can find most of them in your kitchen cabinets is why it's called "Cabinet Cookies."
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
